“Don't ever give up.
Don't ever give in.
Don't ever stop trying.
Don't ever sell out.
And if you find yourself succumbing to one of the above for a brief moment,
pick yourself up, brush yourself off, whisper a prayer, and start where you left off.
But never, ever, ever give up.”

8 - The Squeewee Chronicles - Arrival at Istanbul

The sun rises, and Squeewee finally woke up. After crunching on raw coffee beans, he had slept like, well, a pig. Of course, he had no anchor, so he had just drifted through the night.

He had no idea where he was. Alright, he was in the black sea, but that's about it. However, he simply drifted on and munched on a snack, prayed, etc.

After an hour or two, however, there was hope. He began to see the pointed tips of a Turkish mosque. This was it! He was reaching Turkey!

He ate his breakfast, lunch, and dinner to celebrate. He then laid, rather full, on the floor. He was surprised the boat didn't sink.

A few hours later, he bumped into the shore. He was in an urban area, near the river that cuts Istanbul into two pieces. He could see the bridge.

Now this was intimidating. He had only ever lived around squeebrew-sized stuff. Now, things towered over him.

He made a few second decision. He decided to drift down the river, under the bridges, then moor up and make a few repairs.

So, he did this. He crunched a few more coffee beans, then grabbed a screwdriver.

By the way, if you can find Squeewees boat, there is a massive reward in it. Its remains are somewhere near Turkey, at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.

So he began to walk, with his oversized backpack. This would be the longest walk of his life.

15 minutes later...

"Too farh! I Ghive uph!"

He sat on the hot ground, and decided to just watch feet going by. For some reason, it soothed him. Then, he had an idea.

Finally, someone walked by in the direction he wanted to go. He jumped, and grabbed their trouser leg. He didn't notice.

This was Fineas Phogg, going backwards around the world in 90 days. This man would take whatever means necessary to get back quickly.

Of course, this guy had a car. Show-off.

So, Fineas got into the car(cheat!), and drove off. Squeewee had never gripped something so tight before. After an hour or two, the car stopped, and he got out.

Squeewee decided to not hitch-hike with this guy. But he did follow him into the Attabla, a traditional turkish restaurant.

He waited for a piece of okra to fall from the stew. He grabbed it, and ran. Well, fast for a squeebrew. With a rucksack 2/3 of his weight. Holding a piece of okra half his size.

He hid behind a pot, and munched. To the sound of the call to prayer.
