“Don't ever give up.
Don't ever give in.
Don't ever stop trying.
Don't ever sell out.
And if you find yourself succumbing to one of the above for a brief moment,
pick yourself up, brush yourself off, whisper a prayer, and start where you left off.
But never, ever, ever give up.”

Stickman Adventures
Thu 21 Jun 12
email to someone printer friendly pdf output

David, stick-out ears and everything, was sitting on the couch, reading his favourite comic book and resting his feet on the coffee table, which often wasn't used for coffee. Most often it was used for Wii Controllers, comic books, and empty soda cans. Or, on this occasion, as a footrest for David's bare feet. Luckily he did take a bath often. On this day he was reading his Stickman Adventures #1. Oddly enough, he was always reading Stickman adventures!

Peter, with his spiky black hairstyle, while on his way to the fridge for his 10th soda that day, noticed this. He stopped, turned around, and sighed.

“Dave, I really don't think reading this much Stickman Adventures is good for you. I mean, you've heard the stories and-”

“And they were all in comic books.” David interrupted, but not taking his eyes up from the page.

Peter sighed. Again. “You know what I mean.” David put his comic down for a moment. “Um, no I do not.” he said. Then he pulled his comic up again. He looked up. “Anyway, how many soda's have you had today?” he asked.

Peter cleared his throat. “Uh...Not important!!!” He said, getting a soda from the fridge and putting it in his pocket. “Anyway, uh, just go back to your comic book!!!” he said, nervously. He slowly inched away from the living room.

David sighed. Room mates, he thought, are described as people who push your buttons.
Then he got back to his comic book.
